Kevin Eagan Bio

Kevin Eagan, leads investment strategy, board advisories, and business development for Black Diamond Science.

Kevin began his career at Microsoft as product manager for Microsoft Excel.  Through his 25 year Microsoft career, Kevin was a top executive entrepreneur responsible for creating businesses that changed the world.

 

He led product management for Microsoft Advanced Consumer Technologies, co-founded the first successful local search business, Sidewalk.com, co-founded Windows Media Center, and led the creation and operation of Microsoft's online store. Kevin is one of only a few at Microsoft to receive the Microsoft Chairman's Award, the company's highest honor.

In 2014, Kevin joined IBM as their first Chief Digital Experience Officer. He formed the IBM Digital Platforms Division, headquartered in Manhattan, and drove internal and external digital reinvention initiatives including the creation of the IBM Digital Marketplace.

In 2019, Kevin led a digital reinvention at Cubic Corporation headquartered in San Diego, CA.   which helped position Cubic for a successful acquisition by Veritas Capital and Evergreen Coast Capital in 2020.
